International Talk like a Pirate Day

Crows Nest

Thank you for visiting the first official blog for Clinton Banbury, home of “Clint’s Prints”.  My name is Bob and I like to think I’m the brains of the organisation.  I take pleasure in pointing out when Clint colours outside the lines.  I also advise Zoe on her computer work, but I’m awfully polite to her as she’s the one who feeds me.  Linzi is my marketing assistant and isn’t a big feline fan.  I have to make sure I lull her into a false sense of security by being nicer to her than Cherry (the canine creature who also lives here).

Today I have hijacked the blog – or Bob’s blog as it should be known, as the team are all out promoting Clint’s pirate prints, for International Talk like a Pirate Day.  The mad people who work here were all  talking in some strange language and shouting things like “Ahoy there”, “Ahar me Hearties”, “Shiver me timbers” and “Jolly Roger”.  That Cherry creature has gone with them and the last I heard she was being called a seadog – whatever one of those is, by Capt’n Clint as he called himself.  Apparently there are lots of different activities going on in this country and around the world for International Talk like a Pirate day – in fact there is a whole website dedicated to it where you can find out about events taking place near you.

Here at the studio, I have advised the team to promote the pirate prints, which are perfect for anyone’s little treasure.  For only 20 gold galleons (or £20 in non pirate money) you can have a signed limited edition print, which can have a special pirate message of your choice added by Clint.  I will personally make sure he does this for you or else I’ll be sure to tread paw prints all over his pictures.

Be sure to keep checking back here for new entries on Clint’s blog and I’ll be back to publish the next edition of Bob’s blog soon.  I’m off for a snooze.

Back soon,
Bob Cat

Here are some examples of the pirate pictures available to purchase from Clints website. Don’t forget Clint can sign them with a special pirate message for you.
