About Clinton Banbury
In 2008, Clint has launched a range of greetings cards published by Towell and Scott,
and his own range of Christmas cards; designed a series of hand-painted wall tiles
for children; and limited edition tea towels, aprons and doggy bags were on sale
at retail shows. He also launched a series of exquisite jewellery (working in collaboration
with his partner Zoe Marie, a well known and award-winning jewellery designer).
The first design was a limited edition Christmas decoration in the form of a dove.
Others in silver with diamonds are simple broaches and pins of animals.
In May 2008 Clint started a special relationship with Twycross Zoo in the East Midlands,
which will call upon his design experience as well as his illustrative flair. This
continues to this day. So far he has undertaken many interesting and exciting projects
for the zoo including corporate identity, children’s branding and signs, and their
guide book.
Six of Clint’s paintings were included in the Association of Illustrators’ Best
of British Illustration exhibition in 2008, he is delighted to be endorsed at this
highest level.
In 2009 Clint moved his studio to Warwickshire and continued to build up his print
collection in Galleries. To this date he has supplied almost one hundred retail
outlets.
In 2010 a chance meeting at the Spring Fair lead to the formation his new company
'Scribble Down Ltd'. Scribble Down has now successfully launched a series of nine
transfer activity packs which are now distributed into shops all over the U.K.
What’s new?
Clint recently designed a range of children’s wall clocks which are currently being
prototyped. He is continually adding to his huge range of prints; see 'All New Prints'
section on his website. New transfers and a set of greetings cards will be in production
later this year.
